Housing & Travel

Housing

The campus of Boston University will be our home during the two weeks of the institute. Participants will stay on campus in the air-conditioned four-bedroom suites of 10 Buick Street, with shared bathroom, wireless internet, and laundry facilities. We offer this shared housing for convenience, comfort, and to build a strong sense of community, collaboration, and collegiality.. You will have easy access to the Boston University’s School of Education building and its Questrom School of Business, (both a 15 minute walk or easy hop on and off train) as well as to the School of Education library, cafes, galleries, outdoor spaces and parks, and restaurants. The Boston Public Library and a host of museums and cultural offerings are within walking distance or easily reachable via the adjacent public transportation (MBTA.)

Please note that housing expenses for Boston University (approximately $75.50/night) will be deducted from your $2,200 (taxable) stipend.

Getting There

Ride share

Boston University is only a 15-minute drive from Boston’s Logan International airport and easy to get to using a ride-share service.

Public Transportation – MBTA

The service offered by Silver Line SL1 is the most convenient option and your best connection to and from the Airport with drop-off and pick-up directly in front of each Logan Terminal. Take the free Silver Line Route SL1 from your terminal. This will bring you to the Red Line at South Station, where you will buy subway fare. Board the Red Line train to Park Street (toward Alewife). In the Park Street station, board a Green Line “B” train (toward Boston College). There are several stops along BU’s Charles River Campus, including a Buick St. stop.
